Time Travel Romantic Suspense!

This is the third novella in the Hackle County series, and I’m really enjoying this Time Travel Romantic Suspense! The story picks up right where the second book left off, following April and Clay’s ongoing adventures. Set during the pandemic, the storyline is interesting, fast-paced, and entertaining.

Hackle County health inspector, April Slip, is busy with super-spreader investigations four days before Christmas.Her boyfriend Clay Nolan is also adding stress to her by insisting she avoid confrontations that could send her through time again. There is an altercation at a suspicious gathering that catapults her to 1972 and she finds herself facing her family’s messy past and the real reason she avoids holidays. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

During a routine COVID avoidance compliance patrol, the Hackle Country health inspecter finds herself once again thrown back in time, discovering her family's history and changing events for the better.
Another interesting tale with a little hard science mixed up with the time science fun.

I enjoyed this book.This is a good series. April,a health inspector trying to get people to mask up and distance themselves during the covid outbreak,ends up at a super spreader event.She goes back in time to find out some things she really didn;t want to know about her family. Stephanie Dillard was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
