The war has begun anew. The Demon Army marches on Newaught. Their newly constructed canons catching the city unawares. Finding other refugees along the way, they must shepherd them toward the safety of the Angel Army, however, their journey might be longer than they anticipate. During their flight, Malach's mother has been found. She is being held in a prison deep in Demon Territory.

On the edge of my seat for book 3

The idea of an angel and demon war is not new, but this trilogy certainly brings it mkre depth. You are not only brought into the intricacies of such a war, but a number of the human realities. Book one ended and it felt like there was so much more to come, almost as if it ended a bit too early. Book 2 started at a brisk pace and was continously filled with character growth and picking up on unanswered questions from book one. The narration ensured to keep you captivated, maintaining the memorable characters from book 1 and introducing you to characters you long to learn more about in book 2.

Great continuation of this series!

Continually impressed by this narrator’s ability to seamlessly play so many characters with so much depth and specificity! Great writing as well. Highly recommend!
