The sailing vessel Albatross went down in a white squall in 1961. The young man at the helm that fateful day, now in his 70s, meets Breeze in Pelican Bay. Together they set out to revisit the scene and allow for a final reckoning. Modern-day pirates interrupt their quest. They will be made to pay.

Meanwhile, a pesky private detective resurfaces, threatening to reveal dark secrets. Breeze devises a plan to take care of the pirates and his nemesis at the same time. He is forced to race against time as a statewide Coronavirus lockdown looms.

This was a wonderful series & I am sad to see it end. As to the kung flu, I couldn't agree more with Ed. He was a great American. Thank you, Ed, for sharing these wonderful stories!

two dimensional characters, simplistically good or bad. the actual story was just a couple chapters, the rest useless filler. the last 3 chapters were of no value at all. one good thing, it wasn't very long.

Barely made it to the end

Enjoy Bteeze. Could have done without Fred's "Chinks eating bat soup" line and the overused "Trump esc" references to COVID. I'll be waiting for the next Breeze adventure.

love the setting
