Paloma Ferrer might just have things figured out. She's settled in at her new school. Her little sister has been way less annoying than usual. And, best of all, she's finally gotten a handle on her ability to speak to ghosts. Everything is going great... until Rafaela de la Cruz comes to town.

Everyone knows Rafaela. She and her family are stars of a paranormal reality show, and rumor has it that Rafaela has moved to town to get away from her life of fame. But with Rafaela around, Paloma knows no one will be interested in her seances anymore.

To make matters worse, chaos has begun to surround Paloma wherever she goes—doors slamming shut with no one behind them, objects flying across the room and smashing against the wall.
