There are no books in this series where the mate truly tries to fight. There is no true heartbreak at loosing their life or them trying to choose death over turning. Every book is predictable. The books are well written and would be the perfect series if there was more attention to the fact that the women are being forced and kidnapped into a life they didn't get to choose.
