I was disappointed to hear alpha/pack and dominance theory quoted in a book claiming to be based on the latest training science.
Good information on ADA, AKC, and such but some of the training advice is seriously outdated and offensive.
The narrator is really annoying with her misplaced emphasis. Background noise and recording quality are really bad.
I do not recommend this book for beginner trainers who don’t actually know the latest science available regarding dog training.

Good to a point, but...

Quality-wise, the audio was scratchy and difficult to listen to. Content was essentially just reading the ADA website, state websites, and touting the author's preferred program. Disappointed to hear veterinarian-bashing (vaccine schedules are not about money for vets...) and dominance-based behavior theories. Wasted a credit on this.

Disappointed

There was nothing in this book in regards to training your own service dog. I do appreciate the amount of information that was given on pet food quality and ingredients.

Nothing about training
