The intrigue just keeps coming…

Jewel E Ann never ceases to amaze me. This story is amazing & kept me wanting to listen to it constantly from start to finish. The narrators are perfect. Now…on to book 2. I can’t wait for some answers.

Really like this book

I love Griffin and Swayze, but I am rooting for Nate and Swayze! I hope they end up together and Griffin finds a love of his own.

This is unlike anything I have ever read.

WOAH. I have never read anything like this. I have officially decided that going into books blind is one of the most thrilling reading experiences. I HIGHLY recommend. You do not need to know what this is about in order to pick it up and devour it.

This book is TWISTY. It took me a minute to even figure out what was happening. HOW is this going to unfold?! We LOVE Griff. We NEED answers for EVERYONE involved.

This plot has me mesmerized and I can’t wait to dig into the second book to continue the story.

This is a romance, but also maybe a tiny bit of a thriller? A mystery? Kind of? I don’t even know, but it is CAPTIVATING.

There is language and sex scenes - they were fairly minimal in detailed description compared to most romance books on the market. I appreciated that. This book is plot heavy and I loved it.

So first off I want to start this review off by saying I really did enjoy the overall story. I personally love a lot of romance and angst in my books, and Transcend felt more like a plot forward book and romance became a sub genre. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I personally didn’t really connect with any character from the story. I didn’t really see Swayze ending up with either man that she was in love with or falling for. But I did like the mystery behind Swayze and Nate. I thought it was interesting how she knew so much about his past but she had never met him before. And I did want to finish the book to find out more about the story. That being said, gave it a 3 star because I didn’t personally connect with the characters like I wanted too, and I wish there was more romance. But like I’ve said before I do love jewels story telling and her character development.

I'm definitely a person that loves the 'what if' kind of stories. This book reminded me that everything happens for a reason. Characters were relatable which makes it easy to get carried away with the storyline. Definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.
