To make matters worse, the Indians are holding a white woman and her teenage daughter captive. Zeb knows he's the only hope for the captives, and now he must make a choice....

In this book Zeb rescues a woman and her daughter from some Bad men while trapping. There on the way to the rendezvoue and to sell there furs. They get kidnapped by some Indians along the way and run into several other problems also. There is a war between Zeb and Hawkins. Hawkins is the man that had the woman kidnapped. Gene Engene does a great job narrating this book. Which is the reason I bought this book was because Gene Engene was the narrator.
