Have you ever wondered what trees do when you are not watching, climbing, or hiding underneath them?

How do trees feel? What do they enjoy? What are their dreams? Where do they go?

Once you stop looking at them and your back is turned, Tree Fellas have fun and the adventures begin. When you look back, trees stand straight up in the same place as if they never moved. Next time you go out for a walk, try to find an English Oak Tree and say "hello" to Olly Oak.

The Tree Fellas are unique, memorable characters consisting of trees, leaves, bark, flowers, fruit, and nuts to help four-to-eight-year-old children recognize different trees when they go for a walk, ride their bike, or look out of the window from a car or train.

Each book in the series introduces a separate species, including hand-drawn illustrations of their adventures.

An activity section offers photos, a "Log Book", interesting facts, a quiz, and drawings to encourage environmental awareness amongst children aged four to eight.

Republished for 2022, The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Olly Oak urges children to plant trees to fight climate change and global warming to support The Queen's Green Canopy (QGC).

Teachers may incorporate them into classroom learning, while parents will enjoy listening to them with younger children. Take the books with you on walks, field trips, and holidays for children to identify Tree Fellas and record their findings.
