When it rains, it pours… ​Have you ever felt the need to fill a void in your life? Well for seventeen-year-old Janiece, she finds herself at that standpoint. Losing her mother from a drug overdose and constant degrading by her grandma, it pushes her to act out. Anger and grief are too much to bear. She runs away from the pain inside hoping freedom can fill that space. She falls prey to drinking and following the crowd that leads her down the wrong path. Her biggest issue is that she trusts easily. She embarks on a journey to find out who her real friends are. When life couldn’t get any worse, she is left contemplating her own life. What will she do? ​There comes a time for healing… ​This earthly angel named Josiah seems to be too judgmental for her cup of tea. He’s more annoying than anything; until love has a way to manifest itself back into her life. She learns to let her guard down and to wait on the Lord. Maybe someone could love a damaged soul like hers after all. Will Janiece allow Josiah to comfort her or will she push him away like the others who claim to love her?
