Have you listened to any of Kandi Peppers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't listened to any of her other narrations; however, being Southern myself - I can APPRECIATE her genuine respect toward our characteristics and mannerisms. Very well done.

Love this good, clean, and fun audio book!

This is the first book that I've listened to or read by Debby Mayne and I will definitely be looking for more by her. This book kept me interested all the way through and I didn't want to stop listening. The best part about it is that it is Christian Fiction and is clean! Debby shows that you can write a great book without all of the swearing and sex. That's hard to find any more. The characters are well-rounded, interesting and fun! Kandi Peppers did an amazing job with narration. Several of the characters, including the lead, are from the south and the accent was perfect! I live in NC and I think Kandi is the first narrator I've listened to that completely nailed it! The combination of author and narrator is perfect. I would recommend this book to anyone loves to read good, clean, and fun books, without them being so preachy.
