Being a genuine disciple of Christ flows out of a relationship with him. It's about experiencing God's grace, not earning his love through performance. A real relationship with Jesus Christ will produce a follower whose life looks progressively more like his life. Romans 12 provides a relational profile of an authentic disciple: someone who is surrendered to God, separate from the world's values, sober in self-assessment, serving in love, and supernaturally responsive to evil with good. Christians who live out this kind of lifestyle are what we call r12 Christians.

this was explained better than I've ever heard it explained. living the Christian life is the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm stumbling threw it one trial at a time.

Listen and Live this book

Romans 12 is one of my favorite chapters. The teaching of Chip Ingram took the concepts, truth and application to a much deeper level and made the text meaning expand my understanding. If I just lived these verses well everyday, my walk with Jesus would mature immensely and the testimony of the change he can make would be evident. I've listened twice now and I know I will again.

Audio teachings not an audio version of the book

True Spirituality is a wonderful study of Romans 12 - helpful insights into the meaning of the Scripture and its practical application with excellent real-life examples.
Note, though, that this is not an audio version of the book by the same title, but rather audio teachings on the same themes. Excellent supplement to and summary of the book; just not verbatim the same.
