Map-obsessed Thomas spends his days and nights on a virtual tour of the world through his computer screen, believing he must store the details of every town and city in his head. Then one day, while surfing a street view program, he sees something that shouldn't be there: a woman being murdered behind a window on a New York street.

When Thomas tells his brother Ray what he has witnessed, Ray humours him with a half-hearted investigation - until he realises Thomas may have stumbled onto a deadly conspiracy, which puts them both in danger . . .

With enough suspense to rival a Hitchcock film, this is a thriller with edge.

Really enjoyed this read - great performances; the characterizations of brothers Ray and Thomas were superb. Loved the reference to the Grace Kelly line from Rear Window - "...tell me what you saw ,Thomas, and what you think it means...."

"...tell me what you think it means..."

Wow! What a satisfying read. I loved this book on so many levels. The detailed character portrayal of Thomas and his brother, Ray were intrinsic to the plot with 'savant' Thomas spending virtually every waking hour on Whirl360 (a program like Google Earth) where he can roam the street of the world memorising every detail without ever leaving his bedroom. It's only when he sees something in the window of a building on the program that the two brothers start a thrilling ride that nearly leads to their deaths. Trust your eyes is about compassion and caring but the plot is thrilling nonetheless. The narrator is perfect and I can't recommend this book more highly.

Much more than just a thriller!
