This was good but weird

I definitely liked the character development but the story seemed like a mix of 4 different books all thrown together. it wasn't bad and kept me interested but something was off.

As always and in all ways, Tamsin Kennard shines!

Yes, I chose “Truth Games” due to the choice of fave narrator Tamsin Kennard. Her exquisite British vocals are consistently spot-on. Author Caroline England pens a captivating and devious storyline. Ellie's pursuit of perfection as a mother, partner and daughter is a consistent struggle, with each failure shattering her conscience. (Listen closely and no multitasking during this perplexing and riveting tale.) When a secret from the past reappears, long-suppressed memories and suspicions come to the forefront. Ellie is forced to confront a heart-shattering dilemma: Protect the people she loves or face her family’s dark past. This is accompanied by a shocker of a jaw-dropping finale I never saw coming. {{Wham-Bam! WTH, Ma’am?}} Both England and Kennard are precisely well-paired. Years ago, I started the habit of wisely searching Audible by narrator, a plus as I have discovered many hidden gems. Highly recommended and worth a credit, though I struck gold and bought “Truth Games” during an awesome Audible sale for a bit over $2. Don’t hesitate, grab this thriller now. Epic, indeed!
