Engrossing

Even though I was extremely familiar with each of the heroes, I found this book to be engrossing. There were small details I hadn’t heard or thought about in the chapter covering each man, or woman. The narrator has an easy cadence and the story flows warmly. Very enjoyable.

12 different biblical stories to learn about

I got something from everyone of the 12 biblical heroes and learned a lot of information in which I didn't know before. The stories that were picked and performance are all good. I highly recommend for people in general to fellow christians.

All books by author John MacArthur are history lessons taught in a most enjoyable and entertaining manner. Can’t wait to find another by Mr. MacArthur!

I love this series of books and the narrators enthusiasm when reading. He helps keep me focused on the great story of the 12 unlikely hero’s the author teaches me about. I love learning new things I never connected before.
