This is the best book I have read for gym owners, worth its weight in gold.

Must read for anyone looking to open a gym

Chris takes you, the gym owner, through the ins and outs of taking your gym from a hobby to a legit business.

Must listen for a gym owner.

The narrarator was okay. The information was great! Take notes. Wish I could get the handouts and templates that were written about.

Good information!

decent listen; toward the end cross fit was mentioned every paragraph it seemed. I really had to think how the information would be useful across different gym models other than cross fit.

title should have cross fit in it

Firstly, I admire Chris and follow his advice in my fitness business. However, as someone who does both writing editing and audio editing, this could have been communicated so much better with an investment in a professional writing editor (and then a good audio editor).

It was so bad, I ordered the physical book hoping I could track the advice better. Sadly, it didn’t help. It’s still a mishmash of fantastic advice desperately in need of some semblance of an outline.

I found this really hard to enjoy even though I’m squarely in the target demographic (gym owner, looking to improve, in love with sound business advice).

(For the record, I’m still going to read 2.0.)

Good content that desperately needs a good editor.
