Alexa sat in a pool of her own blood. The deafening silence filled the room as she rubbed her hands over her injured legs. As the blood settled underneath her naked bottom, tears flowed from her eyes. She couldn’t figure out how many days she’d been there, but she knew many had passed. Alexa is satisfied being a teacher and living her quiet life. Though her parents want her to use her master’s degree to be a principal or an administrator, Alexa loves working with the children. Her life takes a sudden change when she is abducted and raped repeatedly by an unknown assailant. As she makes a run for her escape, she is helped by a beautiful stranger, Alonzo Charmers. He’s the assistant District Attorney. Alonzo is surprised when this battered, bruised, bloody woman runs into his arms. Nursing her back to health becomes his mission, but he has a lot on his plate.
