Captivating, Start to Finish

It’s challenging to write a review that doesn’t give away too much of the storyline to this expertly-crafted tale of love and music. So, to keep it brief? If you are an artist of any kind, be that painter, writer, guitarist, and on… or, if you’ve ever battled inner demons in front of a live studio audience for their entertainment, grappled with the complexities of death and birth as they relate to your closest family… or, if you’ve ever been truly touched and moved by a piece of music (even a single note)… or, if you’ve ever been in love so deeply that acknowledging it is painful in and of itself at times… or, lastly (and simply): if you are a human being alive on this earth right now… chances are, there’s something within Rene S. Perez II’s most recent (and most moving —to my eyes at least) novel, Two Twins. Thank you to my good friend for reminding me of the beauty that exists in literature in times of personal struggle. And thank you to the author for this work of art.
