I liked the book, but this story could have continued. there were things the couple could have dealt with. I really wish it had go further.

The Whiskey Creek series was the first Brenda Novak book I ever read. I couldn’t stop reading until I’d read them all! Now the series is complete!

too short

Loved the story....so much so that I hope in the future Novak expands it into a full novel, not just novella. The engaging characters show the characteristics of depth, strength, and integrity that distinguish Novak's protagonists. Every detail fits tightly and cleanly into the current book, and the series plot. But. If you're already a fan of the series, this one definitely leaves you wanting more. It's like tapa's when you're starving. Please. Can I have some more?

Was really getting into the story then....that ending. So many loose ends after all that potential presented chapter to chapter.
