Narration is perfect for the material.

The Saxon Tales comes to a glorious, if short, end. It’s a good way to wrap up the series. Shame though, I really enjoyed this series.

The Story Continues

This is a great short novel in the series. For fans of Uhtred and his adventures you will enjoy this. The story goes back in the past to Osbert days, King Alfred days, and gives a new adventure for Uhtred and Finnan which topped off a great listen.

I enjoyed listening to this and revisiting the characters. Makes me want to revisit the whole series.
