Just the perfect mix of crime, crime fighting and dog love. The wedding was incredible reading with the doggie flower girl, the found sister, reunited family and the boy giving away the bride. Backdrop wedding venue priceless

One of my all-time favorites

I enjoyed this one! I loved getting to delve deeper into Evan's story and seeing him in action with digging into missing children. This time around they find a runaway child who has information on other children that have been taken to a camp. Marlie's world went upside down a few years ago and she has tried to be invisible since and so works as a hospital ER custodian. When the boy comes into the ER she makes a connection with him and he feels comfortable and safe with her, even if she is leery about it. Evan picks up on the fact that Marlie is really great with Noah and that Noah trusts her when he has closed pretty much everyone else off. Evan wants to take this group down and rescue the rest of the kids and to add a little bit more pressure to that, he has a picture of his missing sister which connects her to this. I enjoyed watching Evan and Marlie get to know each other and work in Noah's best interest as well as the rest of the missing kids. We get to see them all get to know each other and the interactions with Noah and I loved Blue as well, Evan's K-9. Blue definitely stole the show quite a few times throughout the book and loved the addition that he made to the story and the characters.
The narrator did a good job with the story and the characters and bringing it to life.
