Its 1995, Botswana is on a recovery journey, re-establishing herself once again as Africa’s jewel, following the conflict with Namibia over Sedudu Island. On a rainy day in Gaborone, a boy beat-down by the city, stumbles onto another in a rough encounter that unleashes a ferocious animal inside him. Here a serial killer is born - a vicious animal never before seen in the African continent. A Mogoditshane boy is found hanging on a yard fence with symbols on his chest the following morning. A week later, in Francistown a double homicide follows and local papers start swarming with headlines of "The Butcher of Donga". Then when everyone thinks it cannot get any worse – The Butcher of Donga migrates further north and starts hunting foreign travelers who throng Kasane every year seeking the magic of the Chobe River. While the world watches, a grueling manhunt begins... Lieutenant Mudjadji is a criminalist forensic leading the Botswana Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BBCI). He lives a double life - as part of a clandestine organization known only as The Mendi, which operates in SADC countries. Lieutenant Mudjadji unwillingly finds himself entangled in a blood-cringing marathon against a serial killer whose rampage is felt across the breadth of the continent. This is only the beginning!
