When we were 11, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot jump. He lied.

(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)

I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton. But it wasn’t.

Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier - and the betting stakes higher - until finally, he left me in pieces. I swore I’d never talk to him again.

But 20 years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart. How many chances does true love deserve?

I loved Book 1 with Teddy and Savannah and really enjoyed Book 2 with Stephen Dexter. Savannah's character Chloe was all sassy yet vulnerable and had lots of spunk and spirit!!! Stephen's character Oliver could be spoiled, egotistical and selfish a lot, but he demonstrated some enduring moments at times. It's hard to get original story lines with over 600 books in your library but listening to Oliver and Chloe as kids, to teenagers, to young adults to adults was entertaining. The past and the present bought these two together endearingly. And I really like these narrators. Melanie Harlow is a great author. I love her writing and the humor, steam and chemistry in her books.

This was a sweet friends to enemies to lovers story. And I loved it! The narration was perfect! I will say though that she must really have loved him to forgive him for some of that stuff be did, because seriously.... They were meant to be together and it all came together for a happily ever after.

Chloe and Oliver’s story begins at childhood when they’re co-conspirators, rivals and rebels bucking the rules and daring each other to do outrageous things like jump out of her family barn. As they grow up the dares and mischief grow alongside them but their rivalry has become a love/hate relationship with heartbreaking consequences. I loved Chloe’s feistiness and her dedication to her family and their business and her reluctance to trust Oliver when they’re pushed to work together. Oliver might be a wealthy, privileged business man but he’s lied to her too many times in their lifelong relationship and she’s right to be leery of his many broken promises in their past. How can she tell when he’s telling the truth? I listened to the audiobook version and I really enjoyed the delightful narration performances of Savannah Peachwood and Stephen Dexter.

Love/hate relationship!

Having read the first book in the Cloverleigh Farm series, I was excited to see what Melanie Harlow had in store for Chloe Sawyer.

I knew Chloe would need a strong and determined man to capture and keep her heart. I was a little surprised by Oliver Ford Pemberton who I had a bit of trouble liking initially.

Oliver may be hot and charming but he is also the one who broke Chloe’s heart. Now he is back wanting another chance. The question is will Chloe put everything on the line for Oliver?

Chloe is such a fabulous character. She is strong, determined, feisty and above all committed to her family.

The chemistry between Chloe and Oliver is intense and it only intensified as the story progresses. There is a fine line between love and hate and Undeniable is a great example of this. The banter between them was at tines frustrating and humorous.

The secondary characters were awesome, particularly Oliver’s grandmother, who was so funny at times all the while calling a spade a spade.

Another great read from Melanie Harlow and i look forward to reading more in this series soon.

I loved this story. The narraters were great other than Stephen not knowing the correct pronunciation for Traverse City.
