This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

Will Laurie’s big break finally force her to reopen the closet or will the skeletons inside make sure her secret stays hidden forever?

Humiliated and betrayed when a teenage fling with her best friend is brutally exposed, Laurie slams the closet door for what she hopes is forever.

But years later, after landing her breakout role, she realises that some skeletons just won’t stay buried.

On set, smooth talking cinematographer Shona eyes her new leading lady as her next notch on the bedpost, but the longer Laurie stays in focus, the thinner the line between want and need becomes.

As the project reaches its climax, the pair are drawn together, but an unexpected old flame appears and soon it’s hard to determine who is a moth and who is the light.

At 16 Laurie was hurt by another and hid her sexuality for a long time by trying to be straight. That is until Shona came into her life. They were mutually attracted to each other, but of course Shona believed Laurie was straight. Then Shona sees Laurie kissing another woman and assumes the worst. They don't see each other again for a year.

Grace and Maya have feelings for each other, but Maya doesn't want to do anything about it because of the age difference of 22 yrs.

I would have liked an epilogue to know if either couples truly got together and made it.

There is a little mature content between Shona and Laurie. 🌶️🌶️🔥

This virtual voice isn't as bad as most, but it's still virtual voice and takes away from the story itself.
