A new job and a hot but grouchy boss for Christmas.

Falling stars are supposed to be a lucky sign, but not for Austen. Her new job as a secretary in an international games company isn't off to a good start. Her first assignment - decorating the Christmas tree in the lobby - results in a trip to the ER after Dee, the company's second-in-command, gets hit by the star-shaped tree topper.

Dee blames her instant attraction to Austen on her head wound, not the magic of the falling star. She's determined not to act on it, especially since Austen has no idea that Dee is practically her boss.

Fabulous story

Fabulous storyline and beautifully read. I enjoyed every chapter. Lovely romantic story told with tenderness.

Romcom

this was really good and funny it had me laughing out loud a couple of times.

The character development aof Dee and Austen; Austen ‘s authenticity in her feelings and Dee’s growth and braveness.

Would have liked to see Dee stand up to her family and garner more support from another one or two family members. Maybe we can see Dee and Austen again

Very cute and unexpected love story. I’ve been really enjoying everything by Jae so far.

What a beautiful story about strong women.

As I have come to expect with Jae's books this was just a magnificent read. The extra gift was to re-read it (actually listen) with Abby Craden doing the reading. I love Dee the misunderstood boss and Austen who sees her so clearly. They meet over a very inspiring accident and find feeling they cannot stuff down. The men in Dee's world expect her to carry all the shitty parts of their work load. None of them see the lonely life their greed expects her to live. Austen will help her see her worth and together see what life, love and happiness might look like. What a delicious journey between two awesome and brilliant woman.
