It should be a major concern of every Christian to reconcile his understanding of the Holy Scriptures with the accumulating scientific knowledge of the 21st century. This question has long troubled me and I have read a dozen or more authors on the subject.

In this small audiobook Howard White has made the best, most satisfactory treatment of this vital matter that I have ever encountered.... The reconciliation of Scripture and evolution presented here is not mere speculation. As the author is well aware, it is of vital relevance to mankind for our understanding of who were are at this very moment in the long history of the human race - creatures of the physical world with immortal souls. (From the foreword by Dr. Clyde N. Wilson)

Many will love how this writer explains how, in today’s world, we can find a pathway to understanding origins that is inclusive of both concepts of God’s creation and concepts of continuing evolution. He leads you so well through the Bible and known science, always pointing to areas of agreement. And his presentation, concise in less than three hours, is predicated on the obvious fact that God did not reveal geography and scientific knowledge to his prophets. Therefore, revelations presented to them, and passed on to us through the Bible, are given to us today in terminology they understood thousands of years ago. Our job is to mentally take our mind back to that primitive knowledge and read Genesis from that viewpoint. Highly recommended.
