Wonderfully Surprising

This book was a quick read and it was good. Anthony's transparency is amazing. Wow. The authenticity will change lives. I'm shocked at myself...I decided to start listening to sermons again.

The honesty of the life of faith

I realized that God is always speaking and due to human tendencies and pride we don’t listen and then wander why the path becomes unbearable at times. God is a God of redemption and grace. Also our answer and awareness is ours for the finding with courage. Self acceptance and awareness of our spiritual and emotional along with physical needs.

Powerful, Honest & full of God's amazing GRACE!

What honesty and awesome life lessons that can transcend both sexes and all ages. Many favorites moments, great illustrations but the two that resonates: the admission of depression and willingness/openness that he needed help: counseling and medication. Then the first group session in which Anthony shares his story and the role playing. In dealing with his fears and problems on his own and His God and all of God's power in the background. Oh, but what a difference it made and does it make when he, Anthony, put GOD in front of his fears and problems!

Could not stop reading, Awesome story! Thanks again and a MUST READ for anyone!

This book!!!

Some of this stuff relates so much to what I’ve been through and what I’m going through now! I cried listening to some chapters knowing that God is going work everything out! I appreciate your testimony!

Transparent and Relatable

Anthony's transparency was so refreshing. I have a lot of friends who are "Preachers Kids" PK's and it was such a Blessing to hear a story from the child's perspective. Also hearing his dad apologize for not knowing and continuing to walk through life and allowing Anthony to find his purpose and passion. I too am a "Squirrel ". So it was icing on the cake to hear a squirrel tell the story and I followed it and never really thought of it as him having a squirrel moment. Thanks Anthony for sharing you heartache, heartbreak and healing.
