Engaging!

As a society we are addicted to social media, likes, and influencers. This story highlights all the pluses and minuses. You will be kept guessing what happens until the end. Not all the characters are lovable at times which keeps it more realistic. This is a good listen as the narrator is excellent.

What’s Really Real?

I liked experiencing the distorted reality of the Influencers and the consequences of the Influencers’ detachment from reality. I also liked the seeing the story from the perspective of the hotel employees compared to the guests. The story was tragic, but the atmosphere and scenic descriptions were well done.

Unsatisfying Ending

I actually really enjoyed this book…until the end, that is! I’m so disappointed with the ending…my heart is sad for their children but especially the one left…and the saddest part, is that social media has actually created families such as this!!!

Perhaps the best Audible original of 2025 so far!

Original story, timely, unvarnished, suspenseful and subversive. Perfectly acted. Some salty language. Beware listening with children in the room.
