Worth reading but may give you the icks

The protagonist was genuinely horrible, and the representation of entitled white people having an impact on the lives of local staff is challenging. The interesting thing about this book is that the characters aren’t punished for their horrible actions. They are allowed to continue and to go on and to never have to “pay” for what they’ve done in the way that they typically do in a book or movie. I also listen to my audiobooks without headphones on, and my daughter was listening while I did her hair and was disgusted by how horrible the main character was. If you have a child with special needs, skip this book. Some of the language used and the lack of understanding for dealing with autism and challenging behaviors will be too upsetting. This book is not for everyone, but it has enough in it and is well written and well paced enough that you will definitely enjoy listening to it.

FANTASTIC!!!

I rarely ever say this, but this book left me in complete Awe till the very end! I love how the writer was able to capture the true cost of social media. The way people live nowadays is sad to say the least. A carefully curated mostly fabricated online life seems to have more value than a real one where people are replaceable! I fear it will take more than a very well written book to make people see that everything on social media is fake and unworthy of our time and love. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be checking out more of this writers work.

I loved the narration, the characters, the setting. And the overall story. It was a great audible originals read, I recommend it!

Excellent narration and great story

I really recommend this listen. It was wonderful. The narrator was so talented it was effortless to listen. I’d like more like this !

Twist that I never expected!

You will never guess who did it! Excellent! Once I started listening I didn’t stop until the end!
