A More Relatable Gone Girl

If you like twists, mysteries, and cheering for a relatable protagonist, I highly recommend this book. I could not stop listening to it! Easily 10/10.

lots of gratuitous sex

Its ok, not great. The sex was a bit graphic. Could have had more subtext.

wow

There wasn't as much suspense as I was looking for and it's heavy on the sex scenes but definitely worth listening to just for the twist. I never saw it coming.

TRIGGER WARNING!!

This book contains sexual violence and other kinds of abuse, and graphic depictions of mental illness. If you are sensitive to those topics, this is probably not the story for you. I am not, and it was upsetting. It's a well written story, just very heavy.

Set in the South

If you love, narrator, Angela Dawe and her southern accent EG Karen Robards Justice, then this book is for you. A lot of dark scenes. So make sure you carefully read the publisher summary as well as the reviews. Always check most helpful. Were my comments of help?
