Engrossing debut novel

I don’t usually read or listen to legal thrillers but I got this one on the recommendation of a friend, and I’m glad I did. It was an engrossing listen and I enjoyed getting to know Liana and the rest of the cast of characters. Loved the insights into the public defenders’ office. I look forward to reading more by this author and listening to other books by this narrator!

A perfect legal intrigue

The characters rang true, honest and the intrigue was equaling compelling. A great listen on a long car ride. Reyna really knows how to spin a yarn.
