Second chance romance

This was a sweet second chance romance.

High school sweethearts, Pru & Holden had the future planed out, but life had a different plan.

Once you get past the typical tropes (Holden leaving without world, Pru being heartbroken and unable to forget him, her losing her father etc...) the story grabs you and you root for them to find happiness again.

The road to that isn't easy, they have to build trust again and believe that this time around they will make the right choices for the both of them.

The narrator did a good job bringing those two characters to life.

I LOVED IT!

I absolutely loved it! This book caught my attention from the very beginning and held it throughout the entire book. The narration was superb and gave the story that extra flair! The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I look forward to reading more books by this author! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Maturity Now To Have Second Chance

Holden and Prue a young teen love, this story deals into how that love was tested, and the maturity for them to have second chance.They were willing, and with letters found a way to begin again. A good audio narration

Great story

This is a very nice second-chance romance. I listened on audible. Lia is a new narrator for me, but I enjoyed her performance and would listen to other stories narrated by her. In the first few chapters I wasn't sure what possible explanation could justify forgiveness, but I was eventually won over and enjoyed the story. The tragedy experienced brings to light the very real, very complex, and potentially devastating impact of PTSD. This story is on the shorter side, but I didn't feel like part of the story was missing. Harlow Layne is a new Author to me, but I would read more of her work and enjoyed this story!

Second Chance

Oh my goodness, this was so good. I loved the storyline and the characters. Holden made some bad choices before but I loved how he grew from them. Him and Pru were so good together, I couldn’t have pictured them with anyone else. This was an emotional read with some drama and twists.

Lia Holland’s narration was great. She was clear and it was easy to distinguish the characters. I enjoyed her performance
