Sophie Newton, determined to prove her business acumen to the father who doubts her, opens a beach-side taco stand called The Sandy Tortilla. It all goes swimmingly - that is, until she loses her summer help. In a rush to find somebody, she hires Mont, a struggling actor. He takes the job because the money's useful, but he finds that what actually keeps him around is his curvy boss.

But when a career-making audition comes up, Mont decides to pursue it, even though it means leaving the taco stand and the woman he's come to love. And when he leaves, Sophie must make a decision, too: should she chase after him or stick with the business she's worked so hard to build?
