This book may not be what you think it is.
If you are looking for yet another book that agrees with you about the Millennium and when Christ will return in relation to that, well, this is not that. It is not a book about prophecy, what the number 666 means or who the antichrist is or will be.
And if you are looking for the latest and greatest book on end time events and predictions or if your main interest is getting chill bumps by comparing the newspaper to the Bible, you probably should look elsewhere. This is not that.
The Scriptures are clear about the fact that Jesus is returning. No serious student of the Bible will deny that. But Scripture is also clear that we don’t know when He will appear. So since we know He is coming back, even if we don’t know when, we should ask ourselves “What should we be doing in the meantime?” Paul's First Letter to the Thessalonians provides some of the answers, which are just as relevant for our time as when he first wrote them.
