So disappointed…

I don’t know where to begin to express my disappointment in this story. I listened to the first audio which was the first book of this series. Naturally I would have expected this series to follow with the second book and there is no audio for it. So to create an audiobook for the third book in this series without the second does not make sense at all. Secondly, I have listened to the narrators on another book and they didn’t sound so terrible as they did in this one. They just didn’t seem into it and the narration was delivered so wooden. Were they not interested in doing this? The story itself was just so bland. It had spice but it seemed so disjointed with whom the characters were. I was so looking forward to listening not only in sequence but to hear the stories of the Midnight men and their journey. The skipping of the sequence and the lackluster performance just killed it for me. So disappointed.
