It’s the 1980’s, the Cavill Family and their multi-national megacorporation have established human settlements on both the Moon and Mars. Their work in space has now significantly overshadowed their still substantial mining, energy, communications, defense and manufacturing operations still on Earth. The Cavills are also the leaders in the development of affordable clean energy on Earth and in space. But while the Cavills have continued to oppose the development of nuclear weapons because they had been the cause of humanity’s demise in Harold Cavill’s original timeline, multiple nations have ongoing covert nuclear weapons programs. Many of these same nations have also been working to challenge the British Commonwealth’s lead in space exploration and development. Towards the end of the decade, one of those great nations has proposed an alliance with Cavill Industries to significantly expand the colony on Mars. But will the Cavills discover that they are allied with a nation developing the very weapons that could destroy humanity in this timeline as well?
