Wanting more FPU books!

** spoiler alert **

I found this book different from the first two books in the series, Wolf Protector and Dangerous Protector, on several fronts. One was the manner in which the story was told. While the first two books in the series alternated between the perspectives of the male and female protagonists, this book also featured Brock's perspective (giving it three total). While the first two books also focused on those within the FPU, this book added many new characters who I think could play a big role in future books in the series. This book introduced the intergalactic dimension to the series, with Jane being revealed as being from another planet and all of the trouble caused by some of the people from her home world. The ending indicates that this will play into the series as it progresses as the FPU and Jane's brother Revine (with the help of their planet's elders) attempt to save the inhabitants of Earth from themselves. That being said, the ending got a bit confusing for me as Brock and Revine spoke in abstracts about what happened and what was to come. Regardless, I'm sad that this appears to be the end of the series. I hope the story either continues with additional books in this series or a tie-in series.
