Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Where will you be when the world ends? What will you do to save the lives of people you love? When a genetically modified virus is released to eradicate the disease known as Man, survival is all that matters. In the first book of this epic saga, follow the men of ODA-141, the Outlaws and the SEALs of Shark Platoon in this hard-hitting, real-world look at life before, during, and after an apocalyptic event. With the world now inhabited by crazed cannibals, will their skills, training and experience be enough? This is the way the world ended. Adventure Science Fiction

The story itself is good. It moves at a good clip and is interesting. Virtual voice puts people out of work and detracts from any listening experience.

Virtual Voice is terrible.

Why use AI voice if you don’t fully use AI for what it is? Use it to make characters sound slightly different, should be a breeze all things considered. A human does a better job than an AI, on top of that humans can pronounce words correct when AI cannot as well as use exclamation on words instead of droning out yelled words. Like “Move Move Move!” Anyone who read that knows how it’s supposed to be read, instead you have AI saying like this “move. move. move.” Like what the f man…

Solid plot

This is a very surprisingly good story and it will definitely draw you into it quickly. The writer does so much right to keep your attention with how well the characters are and how the story unfolds. Excellent work from a very creative perspective on this subject and Will definitely be on the lookout for the rest of this series. Only drawback really is the virtual voice has a negative impact on this great story. It's very flat and emotionally as dead as the zombies but even this and how the writer gets a little description overboard at times does NOT slow the pace of this story. will be following this author and looking for more of their work. RECOMMENDED FOR ZOMBIE FANS!!!

Very good story and it will definitely draw you in

The AI narration was flat and simple words mispronounced repeatedly.. story wasn't bad for the genre. I'm out of things to say but the app wants a longer review.

Not a fan

Disliked the AI voice. The inability for it to properly pronounce simple words was frustrating. Luckily the story was very well written and kept me going.

Great world building and unrelenting tension.
