I enjoyed this story over all

Slow burn like way slow burn. Cooper has been straight his whole life and didn’t know anything different only feeling something was missing in his relationships and couldn’t figure out why he couldn’t commit long term. Ricky has been out since his teen years but had a bad experience with a straight guy in college and is very hesitant in getting involved with Cooper even though he was attracted to him. Thus begins there long slow burn of discovery between them. Cooper once he figures out that this is what was missing with all his other relationships is ready to go full on. Ricky on the other hand is dragging because of his one bad straight guy experience which is pulling him back every time Cooper try’s to push forward. Both men have baggage they have to get through and Ricky takes it very slow with them coming all the way together. Like chapter 21. He ends up pushing their first time together because of running into his ex who is with another guy. Cooper finds out weeks later and feels defeated in some ways so he come to the conclusion that they need time to figure out what is next. I enjoyed the 3rd person ending though.
