vital voice is flat, just someone reading. No emotion, and there is no voice difference between people. I will never buy a vital voice book I've tried several

The virtual reader gives no depth or feeling to the story

I gave the story a couple of tries, but it is hard to listen to the virtual reader. When a male vampire is seducing and dominating a girl with a young, happy girl voice it just doesn’t work and when a terrified woman who’s being attacked by a vampire has a happy girl voice, it just doesn’t work
