A short vampiric story

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
The story begins a bit slow and is one of these series where you have to have first read book 1 so that you can better relate to the characters in book 2. I was always waiting for the climax, which didn't really come.... maybe I've missed it? the ending is open and kinda weird. probably to make room for book 3..? all in all it was not bad but neither good... it was an ok story to listen to.
