Alex knows he is a cliché. After all, a vampire pining for a human girl? He might as well put on a Team Edward shirt and call it a day. Still, despite his werewolf best friend's constant comments about 'Glittering chests,' he can't help himself. So, when his crush announces that she is leaving his online class to return to Green Lake Academy, he decides to throw good sense away and follow.

After some fast talking (and a promise not to eat anyone), he finds himself surrounded by humans for the first time. Now, his only problems are a jealous ex-boyfriend, the fact that he is engaged to a vampire princess, a group of evil bloodsuckers bent on world domination, and a witch that just HAD to enchant a ten-foot-tall murderous statue of the school mascot. Sometimes, being a vampire is the worst!

An Fun Take on Vampires

Part comedy, part action, part snarky teen urban fantasy, part rom-com, the story was hard to peg down but somehow wove all the genres into something really enjoyable. Great voice performance as well. Highly recommended.
