Vampires start integrating among humans, but even with laws adapting to the new society, many problems arise. I solve them. I kill problems.

In the span of less than two weeks, I manage to turn my entire world upside down. This time I have been chosen to take care of some human turned into a vampire, but that will not be as easy as it seems. I have somehow gotten involved in a war against the ancients ones, too dangerous and powerful to fight by myself. And before I could even think about it, I find myself allied with a very unlikely team.

At the end of it all, they're the ones that save me. I've been fooling myself for years. It turns out I was the rescue mission all along.

Lots of twists and turns in this book. Love the suspense, and all the different talents the characters possess.

Vampire’s Shade 1

The story was laid out well. I like the twists that is had.
I would recommend this book to others readers that like books about vampires.

The dark side is darker than you think

This book was good, the characters developed well for a book 1 in a series. The unique take on vampires that I hadn’t heard before was refreshing.

The reader Evelyn was good. She had good pace yet i think some of her character voices were very similar at times making it hard to differentiate. Unless she was just telling the story from one point of view - this being the case it worked well.

I am interested to see what book 2 holds for our Adele!
