Intense and Dark!

Vengeance sucked me in from the very beginning of the story all the way to the end. It was dark and intense and filled with not only violence, abuse, and revenge but also love and hope and second chances. Cheryl May did a great job bringing this story to life although there were some editing issues in the narration such as repetitive sentences. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves dark romance.

Great Book!

First, I would like to say I love Kathy Coopman's writing; she has a way with words that takes you into her stories.This book is a story of Cade and Ivy. They both have a painful past that they need to deal with before they give in to their love. Vengeance is what they both need to continue with their life. The narrator Cheral May did an awesome job with this book! #AudiobookObsession

Great Read

Vengeance: A Vindicator Series Novel, Book One was a good read by Kathy Coopmans. Cade has always gotten vengeance even if it came with a price. He didn't care about the price because his vengeance always came through the eyes of his scope. Cade has always looked for vengeance against his brother after the death of their parents and sister. Ivy was Cade's only love but he had to leave her behind after the death of his family. Unfortunately she married his brother and has endured years of abuse, torture, rape and control. I absolutely loved reading Cade and Ivy's story and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Amazing

Wow what a story. Cade sure has his share of some heavy baggage. Ivy has her own demons to deal with. This was one dark story. Loved the way everything happened. Could not wait to see what would happen. What an amazing strong fiercely loyal couple.

I wanted something more

I wanted to love this book so much, the cover is what hooked me and made me want to listen.

I just found the storyline to be a little out there and it was very repetitive. I don’t even think the characters liked themselves all that much. I mean they sure wanted each other though.

I liked the “dark” aspect of the story but sometimes I felt like there was just unnecessary violence physically and mentally that didn’t really need to be there. The story would have been fine without the “extra”.

In the narration, I found there were some repeat sentences whether that’s the writing or what I don’t know. I did enjoy the narrator.
