Trevor Smalls is just an ordinary guy. He has a full time job, a hobby, and a best friend. He is also thirty years old, lives in his mom's basement, and has never had a girlfriend before in his life. Not a real one anyway. Besides being a stock boy at a local mini mart, he lives to play video games. He has been playing them since he was six years old, and has spent most of his money collecting them. His entire room is filled with systems, games, controllers, and action figures of his most favorite characters.

Trevor is getting bored with his life. Every day it's the same thing. Wake up, go to work, come home, play video games, and sleep. He wonders if this is how it's always going to be. The thought of being alone in his mom's basement forever disturbs him. So much so that he is now doubting every life choice he has ever made.

One day, the news reports that a mysterious object has fallen from the sky, and landed in the woods outside of town. Trevor doesn't pay any attention to it at first. Over the next few weeks however, there are several news reports discussing the disappearance of many of the local young women. Now Trevor is interested. Something odd is happening around town, and it is making everyone afraid to go outside. All except for Trevor. It's time for him to make a choice. He can keep on living as a nobody, or he can step up, and become the hero that the town so desperately needs.
