On opposite sides of the city of Vienna in 1903, two men are found beheaded on church grounds. Detective Inspector Oskar Reinhardt is baffled. Love the characters!! Wonderful Read!!

Tallis. Aims the characters is Max and Reinhardt!! Plot is interesting especially against looming anti- semitism before WWII. Wish he would go a little deeper sometimes. Climatic moments are a little too cool. But will keep reading the Max Lieberman novels!!

Enjoy Tallis work.

Not as captivating as the previous books. Had a difficult time keeping up with the plot.
