First Solid New Lit RPG Series in a while

it's right up there with the Defiance of the fall, primal hunter, dungeon crawler Carl and randidly ghost hound series.

one of my new favorites

I absolutely loved this . everything from the absolutely perfect rendition of a marine idea of " if it won't die, use a bigger gun " to the blooper reel. can't wait for the second book

Worth the read!

Solid characters and story line. Couldn't get over the very beginning. Dude chose to pick his friend as a spirit guide and this helped add a deranged pixie to the story. Please lean into that more. lots of potential humor there. Can't wait for the next one.

Strong narration

The narration was awesome. It really brought the characters to life. The story was good not great, in reference to the writing of the characters not the plot.
