Viking warrior Andor is burdened by guilt over the wife he failed to protect. And he's ready to join her. So he's grateful when a beautiful Valkyrie comes to take him to Valhalla. But why does she keep calling him Brad?

Desperate to get back home before Brad's parents disconnect his life support, Cathy convinces the grumpy Viking to take her to York, where she may be able to return to the twenty-first century. Needing her help, Andor agrees with one condition: he will not protect her.

From escaping pagans hungry for a sacrifice to outwitting the English army together, the two grow closer during their journey. But when passion flares between them, will it be Andor or Brad who holds Cathy's heart?
