I love these vignettes

I will read just about anything from Drew Hayes and then listen to it over and over again. This one is no different. It’s a great addition to the story he has been telling in the Villains Code series. These would be frustrating to have in the main books and throw off the pacing and main story, but they are things that impact the overall story as a whole. They also are just fun and really serve to open up the world he created more

The narrator does a fantastic job. Characters can be identified by their voice, not just by “so-and-so said…”

I recommend all of Mr. Hayes’ stuff, but if you like stories about antiheroes and overpowered characters being put in their place, this is a series and a book for you

Auro backstory and (spoilers) early powers.

great material. as the villain code works grows this was all great to learn even if it couldn't fit into book3. read after book 3.

Fun little stories, definitely want more!

I wanted to hear more about stories from the fantasy world, but the diversion to talk about Rick was solid

Didn’t get into this one as much as the others in the series

Still leaps and bounds above most sci fi books I’ve found by other authors. Drew is just that good. Probably my all time favorite author and one of my favorite series.

Amazingly written

He knocked another addition to this world out of the park! I greatly appreciated the Easter eggs/ inspirations that I recognized.
