Sixteen-year-old Jodie Chalker’s life changes the instant the visions begin. What feels like a nightmare quickly becomes a horrifying reality—when she brushes against someone, she’s dragged into their final moments. Pain. Terror. Death.

When her mother is critically injured in a mysterious car accident and Jodie herself is abducted outside her school, she realizes the visions aren’t random. A ruthless organization called the Trebols knows more about her gift than she does—and they’ll do anything to control her family, her future, and her life.

With danger closing in and no one left to trust, Jodie must embrace the very power that terrifies her. Because the only way to protect the people she loves is to face the darkness of tomorrow—before it consumes her first.

Nice short read, not too serious. Voice acting was good, but sound quality could use some work. This is a story geared towards teens and young adults with a teenaged female protagonist and a happy ending.

Great story telling for YA

The book has an interesting concept and is fairly engaging. I felt like the story rushed a bit toward the end and could use some cleaner editing throughout. Also, it left a lot of unanswered questions that could have helped the narrative be more robust or even lead to future novels with these characters.
