"Kabod" is the Hebrew word for glory, which means heaviness or weight. This is a symbol of prosperity and wealth. Gold and silver are valued by their weight. Gold and silver are also connected to glory. God's presence is weighty, powerful, heavy, radiant, and illuminating. The basic meaning of the Hebrew word "kabod" is heavy in this weight. The verb that often means “to give weight to, honor.” (Holman Dictionary) Glory in Hebrew is Kavod or Kabod. The word "kavod" means weight or heaviness. In other words, to experience God's glory is to feel the weight of God. You know God’s glory when you feel His presence heavily upon you. The glory of God is the manifestation of His attributes, perfection, and character in a visible manner. The evidence of God's outward form is seen in creation, in God's actions, and in the lives of believers. *God's glory is an outward expression of His inward perfections.
